Professional Memberships and Education
After receiving her Bachelor of Commerce with Honours degree from the University of British Columbia, she obtained her Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 2003.
Heather spent two years as a tax consultant in London, England gaining exposure to various industries and the tax issues faced by international companies. Having lived abroad, Heather understands the tax and immigration issues one faces when moving to and living in a foreign country.
Volunteer Activities
Since moving to Kelowna, Heather has been a member of the Junior Chamber International Okanagan and Kelowna Women in Business. She has also authored several newspaper articles on U.S. taxation and has been a guest lecturer at UBCO.
Extra-curricular Activities
Heather and her husband moved to Kelowna in September 2007 and love living here. Their two young children keep them busy and entertained. In addition to spending time with her kids, Heather enjoys snowboarding, golfing and curling.
