Prior to joining MacKay LLP in 2000, Sam owned and operated a small business for over 12 years. Through this personal experience, Sam truly understands what the requirements and needs for small businesses are.
Sam enjoys working with clients to help them meet their business goals and provides them with a source for reliable information for business decision-making. His areas of expertise include assurance services, financial forecasts, cash flows, budgeting, and planning assistance for small businesses.
Professional Memberships and Education
Prior to obtaining his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation, Sam earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Bachelor of Arts degree in Administrative and Commercial Studies at the University of Western Ontario.
Extra-curricular Activities
Sam is married with two children and enjoys travelling. A sports enthusiast, Sam plays soccer, golf, and hockey. The arts are important to Sam and he frequently attends both the symphony and the opera.
