Brent joined MacKay LLP in Edmonton in September 2009 after working four years at Hawkings Epp Dumont LLP. Prior to that, Brent spent 12 years with a local Edmonton accounting firm providing both small business and assurance services to private and publicly accountable entities. His professional experience includes providing in-house training to private companies wishing to go public.
Professional Memberships and Education
Brent received his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Toronto in 1992 and his Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation in Alberta in 1995.
Volunteer Activities
Currently Brent is treasurer of the Kiwanis Club of South Edmonton, an international service club. He is the past treasurer of the Alberta FIJI Society, which is the graduate body of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity.
Extra-curricular Activities
Brent and his wife Tammy have three children: Aidan, Paige, and Sophia. He enjoys golf, tennis, hockey, and camping.
