Heather joined MacKay LLP in 2004 and has been involved in all areas of public practice, but most heavily in audit services for public, private, and not-for-profit entities. She has worked with a variety of industries including junior mining, oil and gas, construction, distribution, and retail. Her not-for-profit experience includes private schools, foundations, and various societies.
Professional Memberships and Education
Heather obtained her Chartered Accountant (CA) designation in 1995 and her Certified Public Accounting designation [(CPA) (Illinois)] in 2005. She graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
Volunteer Activities
Heather is currently involved in community activities as the Treasurer for Quadra Daycare Society. In the past Heather served as the treasurer for the Downtown Networking Association and was a member of the entertainment committee at Marine Drive Golf Club.
Extra-curricular Activities
Outside the office, Heather enjoys golfing, skiing, and spending time with her husband and son.
