Norman has been in public practice for over 12 years, six of which he spent working for Yukon Government in the area of tax policy and administration. He provides services to clients on income tax and accounting matters, serving First Nations, small businesses, and privately held businesses with a broad array of tax and accounting advice.
Norman's tax and business background includes corporate and personal tax planning, estate planning, sales tax, and First Nations tax and finance.
Professional Memberships and Education
Norman obtained his Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta in 1985. He received his Chartered Accountant (CA) designation from Institute of Chartered Accountants of Yukon Territory (ICAYT) in 1990.
Volunteer Activities
An active community volunteer, Norman is treasurer for the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Yukon Territory as well as manager and coach of the Yukon Badgers Under-13 representative soccer team. Additionally, Norman serves on committees established by Däna Näye Ventures, a Yukon First Nations Financial Institution.
Extra-curricular Activities
In his spare time, Norman enjoys fishing, camping, and spending time with his family.
